Our Lawyers
When you instruct City Lawyers to act on your behalf you will be represented by a qualified lawyer. All of our lawyers are either qualified solicitors or Fellows of the Institute of Legal Executives. In addition to being represented by a qualified lawyer, you will also be represented by a lawyer who specialises only in personal injury and clinical negligence work. Many other firms do not offer such a high level of service, instead appointing "claims handlers or litigation executives" to conduct claims on a clients' behalf. We recommend that when considering who to appoint you should seek clarification of whether or not that person is professionally qualified.

Virginia is a Member of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (“APIL") and has a wealth of experience in both personal injury and clinical negligence work. She has a particular interest in catastrophic injury cases including head injury, spinal injury and amputee cases. She has additionally dealt with cerebal palsy cases following mismanagement at birth.

Louise Robson
Louise specialises in both Personal Injury and Clinical Negligence Litigation. She was part of the establishment of City Lawyers in 2004 and is one of the current Directors of the Company.
She gained experience in the Insurance Industry before she started to practice in Personal Injury Law in 1993. She qualified as a Legal Executive in 2001.
Louise is a Member of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (“APIL") and The Travel and Tourism Lawyers’ Association (“TATLA"). As well as having a broad range of experience in various types of injury claims, she has a special interest in acting for clients who have suffered a head injury as a result of an accident or clinical negligence.
Her other special interest is representing people injured whilst on holiday/abroad. This is a niche area of Personal Injury Law mainly against Tour Operators. Louise has recently acted for a client who was successful in bringing a claim against a large UK tour operator. This was a hotly contested case for many years, which was finally decided in her client’s favour in the Court of Appeal.
Louise enjoys a challenge and is prepared to fight hard on behalf of her clients. This has been evidenced by the fact that she has successfully challenged decisions to the Court of Appeal. She has also successfully pursued many cases where other firms have advised the client that they have little prospect of success.
Louise is committed to fighting for access to justice.
