Her work is focused on serious injury cases and she has recently concluded a number of high-value claims for clients who have suffered spinal injuries, amputations, loss of vision as well as a number of complex fatal accident cases. She has a broad depth of experience, is compassionate, empathetic and committed to a holistic approach to care and rehabilitation.

Virginia qualified as a solicitor in 1992 and was head of the personal injury team at St Albans and London based firm Sherrards solicitors where she worked for 11 years before leaving to establish City Lawyers in April 2004.

In her free time she loves walking and spending time with family, friends and her Jack Russell terrier. She’s trying to master yoga and learn the skills for a healthy body and mind.

Louise Robson

Louise Robson2_bw.jpg

Co-founder of City Lawyers, Louise specialises in personal injury and clinical negligence litigation. She has practised as a personal injury litigator since 1993 and qualified as a Legal Executive in 2001.

Louise is a down to earth, tireless and client focused lawyer. She establishes a strong bond with her clients so she can understand their life before an accident and the effects on it, to ensure the best outcome for the client. Over the last 28 years she has supported many clients and their families to obtain settlements following various types of injury such as birth injury including still born and cerebral palsy; limb amputation; head and spinal injury and significant psychological injury causing agoraphobia.

Louise is currently focused on developing her Fatal Accident practise to ensure that all dependants of the deceased are properly compensated to reflect their individual dependency upon the deceased and that this area of law moves with the times.

In her spare time, Louise enjoys spending time with her family (and new puppy), running and interior design. She also loves a challenge and was part of the Spinal Injuries Association London Marathon running team.

Sarah Vincent

Sarah.jpg

Throughout her legal career Sarah has championed the rights of claimants. Her work has covered most areas of personal injury, including disease work. These days she typically represents claimants injured at work as a result of an accident, those seriously injured in road traffic accidents (including cyclists) and those injured as a result of clinical negligence.

Sarah is known for her friendly and empathetic manner and her practical and determined approach to litigation. Like all our lawyers, she understands that a legal claim can be daunting and stressful. As claimants strive to recover from their injuries, often undergoing lengthy rehabilitation for sometimes devastating or life-changing injuries, Sarah works hard to minimise and ease that stress for them and their families by providing support, clear explanation and practical advice throughout. Away from the office she enjoys the theatre and art galleries and unwinds with yoga, a good book or boxset.

Office manager Kathryn joined City Lawyers in August 2014 as the company’s legal secretary. Originally responsible for the day to day running of the office, she now looks after the case management system and forms one half of the firm’s secretarial team with legal secretary Anne Bow. They’re often the first members of the City Lawyers team that prospective and existing clients speak to in person or on the telephone. Outside work she loves spending time with family, walking her dog, socialising with friends, cricket, football and watching TV and films.
